Parts Sales

Granco Clark is searching for a Parts Sales for its Belding facility.

Department: Service
Shift: Days – Full Time

Summary

Sells electrical, mechanical, and other parts and equipment to maintain customer service requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receives and fills telephone orders for spare parts by ascertaining make, year, and type of part needed, to determine replacement part required, or advises customer of part needed according to description of malfunction.
• Coordinate/Confer with Service and Engineering as needed.
• Discusses use and features of various parts.
• Reads catalog or computer for replacement part stock number and Also provides quotes when necessary.
• Fills customer orders from stock, when available; otherwise, orders necessary stock from approved vendors. 
• Provides documents to receive payment or obtains credit authorization, including the processing of customer letters of credit when required.
• Instructs the packaging of merchandise for customer as required.
• Advises customer on substitution or modification of part when replacement is not available.
• Coordinates the examination of returned part to determine if defective, and exchanges part or issues credit as Issues RMA and tracks RMA’s.
• Completes any Quality System records/activities requirements.
• Takes inventory of stock as required.
• Locating part numbers through drawings

• Provides drawing to manufacturing for sales orders.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Minimum two years sales and/or purchasing experience.
