Industrial Painter

Granco Clark is searching for an Industrial Painter for its Belding facility. Ensure products meet precise specifications in accordance with specifications and per company standards by performing the following duties.

Department: Manufacturing
Shift: Days – Full Time
Supervisor Responsibilities: None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience.
• Clean and prepare surfaces.
• Prepare paints
• Apply Paint
• Clean work areas.
• Maintain equipment
• Must be willing to work overtime.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma, G.E.D., Certificate; with trade school experience preferred.

Experience Requirements:

Must have Minimum 2 years’ experience.

Skill Requirements:

Experience in automotive or industrial equipment painting. Knowledge of spray equipment; experience wet painting using a gun; ability to differentiate between colors; ability to work on multiple priorities with frequent interruptions; ability to use hand and power tools and equipment; ability to work with all levels of employees; strong communication skills; ability to meet production requirements as specified  

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, lift, push, pull, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and listen. Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
