Electrical Panel Builder

Granco Clark is searching for an Electrical Panel Builder for its Belding facility reporting to the Electrical Panel Shop Supervisor, this position will be responsible for building panels in a safe and timely manner. Ensure products meet precise specifications in accordance with specifications and per company standards by performing the following duties.

Department: Manufacturing
Shift: Days – Full Time
Supervisor Responsibilities: None

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience.
• Build and troubleshoot electrical systems including, but not limited to control panels, control stations, and junction boxes.
• Wire from schematics.
• Tap and drill panels and enclosures, mount buttons and labels.
• Interpret data from electrical and mechanical diagrams and schematics.
• Use electrical test equipment, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Exceptional attendance.
• Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with established safety and company requirements.
• Must be willing to work overtime.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma, G.E.D., Certificate; with trade school experience preferred.

Experience Requirements:

Must have Minimum 2 years’ experience.

Skill Requirements:

Strong troubleshooting skills and think logically about solutions; mechanical skills to read blueprints and schematics. Strong math skills are required. Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment. Ability to meet production requirements as specified  

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, lift, push, pull, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and listen. Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
