| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Can Art Aluminum Chooses Granco Clark for Third Press LineBelding, Michigan — Can Art Aluminum Extrusions Inc., of Windsor, Ontario, has selected Granco Clark to supply heating and handling equipment for its new 3300-ton press line. Heating for the line will be provided by a Model 69-45-5 “Hot Jet” billet furnace with the intent to process 9” diameter billets. The system is also designed to accommodate a Granco Clark billet taper quench. The handling system features a 150’ cooling table with 4” belts, served by the proven Granco Clark Double Puller with an enhanced chip collection system. Balanced cooling will be achieved with overhead and under table air cooling systems; a 600 GPM high pressure spray quench will also be available for heavier profile sections. Granco Clark will also supply a double endflow age oven with automatic conveyor system.
