Granco Clark Introduces New 60Kg Double Puller

Belding, Michigan — Granco Clark introduces a new 60Kg Double Puller and KamKiu Aluminum, an aluminum extruder in Asia, will be the puller’s first customer. The new puller will be used at the company’s Taishan City, China facility and has a special design for small presses less than 1000 tons. The operating window is 12” x 4” and the maximum profile weight is 1 kilogram per meter (0.7 lb/ft.).

The small-press application presents several unique challenges. The puller must be lightweight, to minimize risk of light profiles being pulled out of alignment. The puller system must also respond quickly to match the more rapid acceleration of profiles. Finally, the cost must be reasonable, to provide a financial payback on the relatively light (in pounds per hour) production output of a small press. The Granco Clark 60Kg Double Puller meets all those requirements.
