| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE China’s Nanshan Group Selects Granco ClarkBelding, Michigan — The Nanshan Group has chosen Belding, Michigan-based Granco Clark to supply the heating and handling equipment for two new SMS 1800-ton extrusion presses to improve their production technology and expand their capacity at their Shandong Province, China facility. The heating system consists of a Model 57-30-3 “Hot Jet” log furnace. This will provide 2500Kg/hr of 7” diameter billets. The handling system features the proven Granco Clark Double Puller to increase efficiency and a high-pressure spray quench to provide isothermal extrusion. The Nanshan Group employs 41 extrusion production lines and produces 110,000 tons of aluminum shaped materials and products in more than 100 series and 6,000 varieties yearly. - # # # - Founded in 1947, Granco Clark began manufacturing billet furnaces and has evolved into a global, single-source supplier and leading equipment manufacturer to the aluminum extrusion industry.
