| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Granco Clark Selected by Kaimei Shindo of Japan For Extrusion TechnologiesBelding, Michigan — Kaimei Shindo has selected Belding, Michigan-based Granco Clark, to supply it with extrusion technologies needed for its expansion into the Aluminum Extrusion market within Japan. Granco Clark is a global aluminum extrusion equipment manufacturer and supplier. Kaimei Shindo ordered a 69-40-4 “Hot-Jet” Log Furnace and 79 Hot Log Shear; shear-to-press transveyor; an end flow age oven; and a three-chambered, Multi-Compartment Die Oven. The equipment will process the logs and provide the exact length billet on every press cycle, thus reducing scrap. The transveyor will deliver the cut billets to the press loader. The Multi-Compartment Die Oven features multiple, individually heated drawers, each capable of holding several dies. This design eliminates the costly potential damage that can occur with the mixing of cold and heated dies. - # # # - Founded in 1947, Granco Clark began manufacturing billet furnaces and has evolved into a global, single-source supplier and leading equipment manufacturer to the aluminum extrusion industry. Quality is a key component in every extrusion system the ISO-9001 certified company fabricates — from billet log furnaces and log shears to age ovens and stacking equipment. - # # # -
