Elixir Industries Selects Granco Clark’s Efficient Technologies

Belding, Michigan — Elixir Industries has selected Belding, Michigan-based Granco Clark to provide an SST Hot-Jet furnace, log shear, and a chest-type die oven for the company’s Douglas, Georgia facility. Granco Clark is a global aluminum extrusion equipment manufacturer and supplier.

The Hot-Jet Furnace delivers an average thermal efficiency of 55 percent, which is a peak performance level for most other billet furnaces. The log shear will be integrated with the furnace to allow Elixir Industries to cut billets to the desired size as needed, eliminating the need to inventory multiple lengths.
 
Elixir Industries is one of the largest independent suppliers to the factory-built housing and recreational vehicle industries, with seventeen operating divisions throughout the United States.
