Sierra Aluminum Increases Throughput with New Granco Clark Technologies

Belding, Michigan — Granco Clark has been selected by Sierra Aluminum to supply several system upgrades. The order includes a Hot Jet Billet Furnace for the company’s 1800T 7" line and a new partial belt and saw system for its 1800T 8" line. Both improvements will allow Sierra Aluminum to offer its customers enhanced profile quality and increased system throughput. The order also includes automated profile handing in the stretcher area, new storage, saw infeed, an ECS extrusion saw, and offload belts.

Sierra Aluminum is one of the largest extrusion suppliers in the Western USA, serving various industries including construction, transportation and consumer products.
