Smooth transportation through stretching cycle with minimum manpower

Granco Clark’s stretcher load/unload belt system is a series of low-temperature belts that reach across the stretcher bed and into the downstream batch belts to transport profiles through the stretching cycle. As the stretcher tailhead repositions itself to stretch extrusions of various lengths, belts automatically extend or retract as needed, minimizing manpower needs. The belts have a low-friction surface that allows profiles to slide freely during the initial take-up cycle, guarding against marking of extrusions.
